Meeting Held Regarding the Guideline for Preventing Harmful Traditions

On April 25, 2025, a meeting was held under the leadership of Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, to prepare a guideline for the effective implementation of the decree of His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him) concerning the prevention of harmful traditions during times of joy and sorrow. Representatives from the Ministries of Information and Culture, Higher Education, Education, Interior Affairs, Hajj and Religious Affairs, and Borders, Tribes, and Tribal Affairs participated in the meeting.

The meeting was convened in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs. At the outset, Mawlavi Rabbani Naseeh stated that in a prior meeting of deputy ministers from the relevant ministries, chaired by the Director General of Administrative Affairs, it had been decided that a guideline should be prepared to ensure the proper implementation of the aforementioned decree. Accordingly, this meeting was organized.

During the session, the representatives of the mentioned ministries shared their perspectives regarding the guideline for preventing harmful traditions, followed by a comprehensive discussion.

It was also noted that in order to raise awareness and ensure the effective implementation of the mentioned decree, committees should be established at the central, provincial, and district levels, so that countrymen can be properly informed and decree can be implemented effectively.


The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
