18th Cabinet Meeting: Measures are to be taken to prevent the import of low-quality fuel

 

On March 24, 2025, the 18th Cabinet meeting of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was held under the chairmanship of Al-haj Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister of the IEA, where a number of issues were discussed, and decisions were made.

The session began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by discussions on important economic, social, and cultural matters of the country.

In the meeting, several tasks were assigned to specific delegations, with instructions to finalize their work and report back to the Cabinet.

The proposals of the assigned delegation, led by Mawlavi Shamsuddin Shariati, Director General of the Supervision and Prosecution of Decrees and Orders, regarding the prevention of low-quality fuel imports, were approved. Relevant agencies were tasked with ensuring the implementation of these measures.

Additionally, all agencies were instructed to coordinate with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in recruiting personnel for both large and small projects, ensuring that priority is given to local citizens in the recruitment process for human resources.

Other topics were also discussed during the meeting, and necessary decisions were made about them.

The Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
