Director of NPD Meets with Trade Representative of Kazakhstan for Afghanistan

On March 19, 2025, Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour, Director of National Procurement at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with Arman Yusintayev, Trade Representative of Kazakhstan for Afghanistan, to discuss expanding trade and enhancing economic cooperation between their countries.
The meeting, held at the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) compound, focused on facilitating trade transactions, improving coordination in trade affairs, and exploring joint investment opportunities.
Mawlavi Mansour expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s trade cooperation, emphasizing the importance of these relations in meeting the basic needs of Emirate agencies and fostering economic growth in both countries. He also highlighted that Afghanistan requires investment in all sectors and expressed a strong desire to further expand trade relations with Kazakhstan.
Meanwhile, Arman Yusintayev reiterated Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Afghanistan, conveying that Kazakh companies are ready to invest in providing goods and services needed by Afghanistan. He also highlighted Kazakhstan’s role as the first country to host the largest exhibition of Afghan trade products, noting that relations between the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and Kazakhstan are currently at their highest level.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to draft a memorandum of understanding to further strengthen trade relations and bilateral cooperation, creating new business opportunities.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and concluded with prayers for goodwill.
