On February 2, 2025, the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs conducted the bid-opening meeting for the renovation project of the first turbine of the Mahipar Hydroelectric Plant. The meeting, held in the NPD's conference hall, was attended by several domestic and international bidders, along with members of the bid-opening committee.

Sheikh Abdurrahim Rahimi, Deputy Director of the NPD, welcomed the representatives of the bidding companies and stated that, as our system is Islamic, all our transactions are carried out in accordance with Islamic principles.

Mr. Rahimi added that the NPD was established for the benefit of the nation and the contract would be awarded to the company presenting a reasonable proposal with significant benefits for the nation.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
