A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Simplifying Administrative Processes Signed Between the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority and the General Directorate for Coordination

On January 9, 2025, a ceremony for the practical implementation of simplifying administrative processes was held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs. The event was attended by Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs, along with directors from the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority and the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs.

During the ceremony, Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb emphasized the importance of simplifying administrative processes, stating that facilitating and resolving people's issues are fundamental goals of the Islamic system. He also praised the efforts of the Administrative Reforms Authority for their work in streamlining procedures within the country's service institutions.

Mufti Shahzad Noor Rashid, Director of the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority, presented a report on their progress. He remarked, "We are striving to simplify the complex administrative procedures in municipalities as quickly as possible to facilitate the provision of services to citizens."

Meanwhile, Mawlavi Mohammad Ishaq Akhundzada, Director General for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, highlighted the significance of the initiative, saying, "The process of streamlining complex administrative procedures is a critical necessity. Strengthening any part of the system ultimately strengthens the entire government apparatus."

It is noteworthy that the Administrative Reforms and Civil Service Authority has successfully simplified hundreds of complex administrative processes across ministries and various Emirate institutions, including the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Public Health, and Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat. These efforts have significantly enhanced the delivery of public services.

The ceremony, which began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
