Director General of Administrative Affairs Participates in Training Program for Ministry of Finance Officials
On January 4, 2024, Sheikh-Al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, attended and delivered a speech at the training program organized by the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance for budgetary units and financial officials on financial and accounting matters.
The event, which took place in the conference hall of the Afghan International Islamic University, was attended by the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Minister of Higher Education Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, Minister of Finance Mullah Mohammad Nasar Akhund, and other representatives from various budgetary units.
In his speech, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar expressed, "It brings happiness to see training programs being organized to enhance the capacity of financial officials." He added, "Such initiatives strengthen the sense of commitment and motivation toward responsibilities."
He further highlighted the importance of knowledge in an Islamic framework, saying, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) trained his companions in acts of goodness and virtue, enabling them to spread the message of Islam and humanity worldwide. In an Islamic system, those entrusted with responsibilities must seek knowledge and stay informed about matters related to their duties, treating their opportunities as a trust."
He added, "Our connection is with a religion that orders us to pursue knowledge, education, and increased awareness at all times. Our religion provides comprehensive guidance on financial and economic matters. By learning these principles, we can save time and resources, enhance transparency, and achieve greater efficiency even with limited means."
The Ministers of Finance and Higher Education also delivered speeches during the program. The event, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
