Cultural and Social Affairs Deputy Director Meets Ulema, Elders and Youth of Parwan Province


On August 24, 2026, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, Al-Haj Noor Mohammad Haidari, met with a number of religious scholars, tribal elders and youth from Parwan Province in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs to discuss ways to address their concerns.

At the outset, the Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs welcomed the participants and said that the Directorate has so far held more than 200 meetings with various segments of society to address their concerns.

Afterwards, the religious scholars, elders and youth of Parwan identified the construction of clinics; addressing shortages of medicines and specialist doctors in existing health facilities; resolving problems related to electricity, roads and bridges; providing clean water; constructing dams; investment in the agricultural sector; reconstruction of mosques and wells; and the construction of cold-storage facilities, the Eidgah Mosque and women’s madrasas as their key and fundamental concerns.

The Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs listened to the participants’ concerns and requests and pledged to share them with the relevant institutions and officials and seek appropriate solutions within the available resources.

The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
