Meeting Held on Implementation of Resolution No. 11 of Ministers’ Council Concerning Customs of Herat, Farah, and Nimroz Provinces
On April 21, 2026, in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, a meeting was held based on Resolution No. 11 of the Ministers’ Council, concerning the assigned duties in the operational plan of Emirate bodies related to the customs of Herat, Farah, and Nimroz provinces, with the participation of Mawlavi Mohammad Sadiq Akif, Director of Ministers’ Council and Higher Commissions Affairs Coordination, and representatives from the Ministries of Finance, Urban Development and Housing, Transport, Public Works, Communications, Interior Affairs, the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs, as well as the Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS).
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of Ministers’ Council and Higher Commissions Affairs Coordination
shared the decisions of the previous meeting with the participants and urged all institutions to present their prepared progress reports.
Subsequently, representatives of the relevant ministries and institutions presented detailed reports on their assigned duties, activities, and progress related to the customs of Herat, Farah, and Nimroz provinces, and called for resolving the existing challenges hindering progress in the process.
In conclusion, the Director of Ministers’ Council and Higher Commissions Affairs Coordination expressed satisfaction with the progress made, assured participants that existing challenges would be addressed, and called for stronger coordination among relevant ministries and institutions, as well as the expediting of the work.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
