On December 18, 2024, an awareness program on the e-procurement system was organized by the Electronic Procurement System Development Department (EPSD) of the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) for procurement plans experts of all ministries and government agencies.

The program, held under the leadership of Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour, Director of NPD, in the NPD conference hall, was attended by 54 experts.

In his opening remarks, Mawlavi Abdul Baqi Mansour welcomed the participants and stated that our country has faced 40 years of war and crises, and now is the time for rebuilding. He emphasized that using advanced technology to facilitate work and bring transparency to contracts is vital for progress and can help us compete with advanced countries.

At the conclusion of the program, Said Jalaluddin Rahmani, an expert in the analysis of the procurement system, delivered a presentation on the e-procurement system, its components, objectives, and benefits, offering valuable insights and explanations to the participants.

The program, which began with a recitation of the Holy Quran, ended with a prayer for goodwill.
