Eighteenth Cabinet meeting; The remaining work of the Kabul-Logar highway is being completed

Mar 4, 2023- The eighteenth meeting of the Cabinet of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan was convened under the leadership of Al-haj Mullah Muhammad Hasan Akhund, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, where several issues were discussed and vital decisions were undertaken.

The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and the Ministry of Public Works was assigned the task of commencing the construction works of the Kabul-Logar highway from Pul-e-Mahmood Khan to Chahar Asyab in the first days of the upcoming month and completing the remaining works.

Additionally, the 10-year draft of planting saplings prepared by the National Environmental Protection Agency was approved, which will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock with the cooperation of relevant agencies.

Meanwhile, the Security Commission was entrusted with the duty of discovering the activity places and banned substances of
all the traffickers who are involved in drug trafficking, and taking serious action about it.

During this meeting, the Emirate agencies were considered obliged to enter into the contract with the Emirate companies from a single source, and it was decided that in all cases where these companies have the capacity, should be prioritized.

This Cabinet meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
