On Sept 10, 2026, the Electronic Procurement System Development Department (EPSD) of the National Procurement Directorate (NPD) at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs held an online training program on the Electronic Procurement System for representatives of private sector companies.
The program was attended by 20 representatives of private companies, who gained practical knowledge of how the E-Procurement System works and the services it offers. At the beginning of the program, practical information was provided on company registration, obtaining a Vendor Procurement Identification Number (VPIN), downloading bidding documents, accessing procurement opportunities, and other related matters.
In addition, the participants’ questions and concerns were addressed, and the relevant specialists provided them with the necessary guidance.
Officials of the Electronic Procurement System Development Department said that such programs aim to raise awareness among private companies, facilitate access to available procurement opportunities, and encourage wider use of electronic services.
