General Directorate of Administrative Affairs Sends Delegation to Investigate Boundary Issue between Nimroz and Farah Provinces
According to Order No. 219, dated 12/1/1448, issued by the Esteemed Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs has been tasked with overseeing and coordinating the implementation of the order, with the aim of conducting a comprehensive investigation into the issue concerning the boundary between Nimroz and Farah provinces and finding an appropriate solution.
Based on the order, the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, under the leadership of the Office of the Deputy Director General for Emirate Policy of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, formed a joint delegation comprising representatives of the relevant institutions and sent it on an official visit to Farah and Nimroz provinces to comprehensively assess the issue.
The delegation was led by Mawlavi Nazeer Ahmad Nasari, Deputy Director General for Emirate Policy at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, and included experts from the Directorate of Planning, Evaluation and Analysis of Reports, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Ministry of Borders, Tribes and Tribal Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and the General Directorate of Statistics and Information.
During its official visit, the delegation held meetings with relevant officials, local authorities and other parties concerned with the issue in Farah and Nimroz provinces. It comprehensively examined the issue concerning the boundary between the two provinces from various perspectives.
During the visit, relevant documents, information and available evidence concerning the issue were collected and assessed. The delegation also obtained the necessary information regarding the situation in the area and the administrative and technical aspects of the issue, in order to prepare an accurate and comprehensive report for the better implementation of the order of the Esteemed Office of the Prime Minister and the proper resolution of the issue.
The delegation is expected to share its report with the relevant authorities based on the investigations conducted, findings and information collected, so that the necessary decisions and measures can be taken to resolve the issue concerning the boundary between Nimroz and Farah provinces.
