Director of Cultural and Social Affairs Meets Ulema, Tribal Elders, and Youth from Takhar Province
On July 8, 2026, Mufti Mohammad Idress Anwari, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, met with a number of ulema, tribal elders, and youth from Takhar Province in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs to discuss solutions to their issues.
At the outset, Noor Mohammad Haidari, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, stated that, in accordance with the decree of His Highness Amirul Momineen (may Allah protect him), the doors of the Cultural and Social Affairs Directorate at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs are open to all people. He added that the Directorate has so far held more than 450 meetings with various segments of society and has addressed their concerns.
Meanwhile, Mufti Mohammad Idress Anwari, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, stated that the objective of the Islamic Emirate is to serve the people and improve their living conditions. He added that the officials of the Islamic Emirate are committed to meeting the people's material and spiritual needs. He further noted that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has developed broad and beneficial programs that, once implemented, will help resolve many of the people's problems.
The ulema, tribal elders, and youth from various districts of Takhar Province, while expressing appreciation for the efforts of the Cultural and Social Affairs Directorate, presented their key demands, including establishing more Darul Uloom institutions, constructing school buildings, improving hospital services, drilling deep wells, constructing roads, building electricity substations, opening bank branches, and establishing cold storage facilities, parks, and sports grounds.
The Director of Cultural and Social Affairs listened to the participants' concerns and suggestions and assured them that the issues and proposals of the people of Takhar Province would be shared with the relevant institutions for resolution.
The meeting began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
