Director General of Administrative Affairs: Advanced Laboratories Play Key Role in Crime Detection


On July 7, 2026, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, participated in and addressed the inauguration ceremony of the Biology and DNA Laboratory under the General Department of Laboratories of the Criminal Techniques Directorate of the Ministry of Interior Affairs.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Director General of Administrative Affairs stated that maintaining security is among the foremost priorities of systems. He noted that security and forensic institutions with greater expertise in detection, identification, and verification of crimes, as well as access to advanced equipment, are more capable and successful.

Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar added that, in today's era, crimes have become increasingly sophisticated and complex in nature, making the use of modern tools and advanced technologies essential for addressing them.

It is worth mentioning that the Biology and DNA Laboratory will help expedite criminal and forensic investigations, facilitate the comparison of suspects' DNA profiles, enable the rapid identification of individuals from crime scenes, and support various other forensic procedures. This initiative reflects the innovation of the relevant institution and is a commendable step. It is expected to produce significant positive results in further strengthening the security.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
