On June 27, 2026, the Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, participated in and delivered a speech at a meeting organized by the Ministry of Information and Culture for officials and representatives of libraries and printing houses.
Addressing the gathering, the Director General of Administrative Affairs stated that Allah Almighty revealed the Holy Scriptures for the guidance of humanity and conveyed them to people through His prophets. He added that whoever refers to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) will be protected from misguidance and deviation. He emphasized that people should learn from and benefit from these sources in order to remain steadfast on the path of truth.
Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar further stated that Allah Almighty has endowed human beings with intellect, and that intellect requires them to continually strive to expand their knowledge and understanding. According to him, the most effective way to achieve this is through reading books and engaging in continuous study.
He also spoke about the religious, educational, intellectual, and moral value of study, describing it as a fundamental pillar for acquiring knowledge and advancing society. He encouraged participants to choose appropriate books, maintain a consistent study habit, take notes, and apply what they learn in practice. He further urged them to make study an integral part of their daily lives.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
