Director of Investment Facilitation Visits Construction Works of Two Commercial Markets in Sar-e-Pul Province

Director of Investment Facilitation, Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, accompanied by a technical team, visited the ongoing construction works of the Barkat and Omar Mukhtar Commercial Markets in Sar-e-Pul Province during his tour to the northern region of the country.

During the visit, the Director of Investment Facilitation stated that all officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are committed to creating a suitable environment for investment across different provinces of the country.

He further added that such commercial projects not only accelerate economic growth but also create employment opportunities for the people. He called on all domestic and foreign investors to make use of the available opportunities and play their role in the development of the country.

It is worth mentioning that construction of two major commercial markets, each consisting of six floors, is currently underway on municipal land in the center of Sar-e-Pul Province. The share of the Islamic Emirate in the total revenue has been set at 30% and 35%, respectively.
