Coordination Meeting Regarding Construction of Baihaqi Commercial Market in Kabul, Held
On March 29, 2026, a coordination meeting on the construction of the Baihaqi Commercial Market in Kabul was held under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.
The meeting, which took place in the conference hall of the General Directorate, also included representatives from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Information and Culture, and the Faqir Mohammad Rahmani Company.
The Director of Investment Facilitation commenced the meeting by welcoming the representatives and participants from the relevant institutions, emphasizing the project's significance and value.
Representatives from the Faqir Mohammad Rahmani Company presented details about the project, stating that the market will consist of two floors with a total of 59 shops, and will be constructed at a cost of 30 million AFNs in Kabul's first district.
Participants of the meeting expressed their full support for the project's implementation.
In conclusion, the Director of Investment Facilitation, after considering the opinions presented, decided that following a thorough review of the project's relevant documents, the Faqir Mohammad Rahmani Company should be authorized to commence construction.
The meeting, which began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
