Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs: Islamic system officials, following the reform of beliefs, engage in the reconstruction of the country


Mawlavi Saifuddin Taieb, Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs at the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, participated in the inauguration ceremony for the construction of a bridge over the Kokcha River, located in Barlas village of Shahr-e-Buzurg district in Badakhshan province.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Director General for Coordination of Emirate Affairs said: "In an Islamic system, besides reforming beliefs and implementing Sharia, providing services, development, and prosperity of the country are also among the fundamental duties of an Islamic government."

The bridge will be 9.9 meters wide and 80 meters long, and will play a vital role in connecting the districts of Shahr-e-Buzurg, Yawan, Raghestan, Khwahan, Kuf, Shaki, Nusi, and Maymi with the center of Badakhshan province. It is funded with a budget of 60 million Afghanis from the Ministry of Public Works and is expected to be completed within 18 months.

The ceremony concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
