Director General of Administrative Affairs Participates in National Export Day Celebration Ceremony
On July 10, 2025, an appreciation ceremony for top exporters was held at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce on the occasion of the 20th of Sawr, National Export Day.
The ceremony was held in the conference hall of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, with the participation of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs; Mr. Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce; and several other officials.
In his speech, the Director General of Administrative Affairs stated that Afghanistan, which had long remained an import-dependent country, is now gradually moving toward self-sufficiency. The efforts of the Islamic Emirate, investments by entrepreneurs, and the support of the people have revived the hope that the country will soon be able to meet its basic needs through domestic production.
He added that, considering Afghanistan’s natural resources and underground wealth, the country is among the rich nations. “Today, we not only finance certain sectors domestically, but also export various goods to other countries. This progress reflects the country's economic growth,” he said.
He further stated that, for the reconstruction of the country and the achievement of economic stability, officials of the Islamic Emirate, investors, and the general public are working together. This national unity will lead the country toward development, self-sufficiency, and a bright future.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
