Meeting Held to Develop Final Guidelines for the Implementation of the Decree of His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin Hafizahullah Ta’ala

On May 10, 2025, a meeting was held to develop final guidelines for the implementation of the decree of His Highness Amir al-Mu’minin Hafizahullah Ta’ala concerning the prevention of harmful customs and the promotion of public awareness.

The meeting, which took place in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs under the chairmanship of Sheikh al-Hadith Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, Director General of Administrative Affairs, was attended by representatives of a joint delegation from the Ministries of Propagation of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, Complaints Hearing, Hajj and Religious Affairs, Education, Higher Education, and Information and Culture.

During the session, discussions were held on harmful and extravagant customs that are common in Afghan society and contradict Islamic Sharia. It was noted that, for years, these practices have exposed people in many parts of Afghanistan to negative economic, moral, and social consequences. The participants emphasized that such problems can only be resolved through coordinated efforts by ulama and influential figures, in collaboration with the relevant Emirati institutions.

The delegation, in accordance with the directives of the respected leadership of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, drafted and approved a comprehensive plan to prevent and reform harmful traditions. The delegation expressed hope that, following its approval, effective and beneficial actions would be taken and that it would yield positive and commendable outcomes at the national level.

The meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
