On April 14, 2025, a preliminary meeting was held under the leadership of Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate, to discuss the hotel construction plan at Kabul International Airport, with the participation of representatives from the private companies Cinderella and Harirod.
Mr. Khalid stated that the mentioned plan has been reviewed by experts from the directorate, and there are some points on which the companies need to provide clarification.
He described the hotel construction project at Kabul Airport as a vital initiative and assured that experts from the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs are fully prepared to provide the necessary cooperation for its completion in accordance with the Public-Private Partnership Law.
In conclusion, it was decided that the Investment Facilitation Directorate and the mentioned companies would form a technical team to hold joint meetings, discuss ways to enrich the plan, and present the results to the Economic Commission for a final decision.

The meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, ended with a prayer for goodwill.
