On April 12, 2025, a coordination meeting to implement the order of Amir al-Mu’minin (may Allah protect him), regarding the allocation of land for small enterprises, was held under the chairmanship of Mawlavi Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

The meeting took place in the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, with the participation of the representatives from the Ministries of Industry and Commerce, Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, and Urban Development and Housing, as well as Kabul Municipality and the General Directorate for Coordination of Municipal Affairs.

During the meeting, the representatives of the relevant agencies expressed their views and suggestions regarding the allocation of approximately 10 to 50 jeribs of land in each province for industrial zones.

The Director of Investment Facilitation listened to the participants’ opinions and decided that the second-level units of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce should identify the allocated land so that the transfer process can begin practically.

The meeting, which commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, ended with a prayer for goodwill.
