On January 12, 2024, Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh, Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, met with religious scholars, ethnic elders, and wakil-e-gozars (locally elected representatives) of Paghman district, Kabul.

The meeting, held in the conference hall of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Following this, Engineer Noor Mohammad Haidari, Deputy Director of Cultural and Social Affairs, welcomed the participants and outlined the agenda of the meeting.

Representatives from Paghman district spoke in turn, as per the agenda, highlighting key issues faced by their community. They expressed concerns about shortages of drinking and agricultural water, noting that some private companies are transferring water from their area to other regions, which could further exacerbate their problems.

The representatives further emphasized the urgent need for constructing check dams and dams in the district to protect agriculture and orchards. They also requested the construction of roads, a retaining wall for Chaltan High School, the reconstruction of a bridge, and the building of a clinic.

Mawlavi Mohammad Rabbani Naseeh attentively listened to the concerns raised by the representatives. He noted that the Emirate has already built check dams and dams in various parts of the country, with additional projects currently underway. He assured the attendees that their concerns would be communicated to the relevant authorities for resolution.

The meeting concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
