The General Director of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, stated at the joint conference between the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, the Ministries of Energy and Water and Finance, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), and private companies regarding the signing of several important contracts for electricity production and construction projects that best investment opportunities have been made available in Afghanistan more than ever before.
This joint conference was held on March 24, 2024, at the Government Media and Information Center, in the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Director General of Administrative Affairs, Sheikh-ul-Hadith, Mawlavi Noorul Haq Anwar, officials of the Ministries of Energy and Water and Finance, Emirate Companies, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), and officials of domestic and international companies.
After the recitation of the Holy Quran, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, Investment Facilitation Director of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, provided information about the signing of several significant projects and called the projects of Luqman Hakeem commercial and residential market in Helmand with the New Omari Building Company, and Melat Commercial Market with Kamal Zafar Group as the projects of Public-Private Partnership model and public benefits and according to him around 1200 countrymen will be provided with employment.
The Director General of Administrative Affairs also spoke about the importance of these contracts, emphasizing that if investments and rights had not been betrayed or violated in the past, Afghanistan would have been able to stand on its own and avoid poverty. He encouraged businessmen to invest in the country, stating that Allah has provided them with an opportunity to develop the country and help its people.
Meanwhile, the officials of the Emirate's institutions and the representatives of private companies also spoke about the importance of the contracts for the mentioned projects and expressed their gratitude to the Islamic Emirate for facilitating the investment.
It is worth mentioning that the Investment Facilitation Directorate of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs has previously provided investment opportunities for several large and significant projects in the Public-Private Partnership model, such as the Khairkhwah Commercial Market and Kajki Dam of Helmand.
The conference concluded with a prayer for goodwill.
