A Coordination Was Held To Attract Domestic And Foreign Investment

Dec 13th, 2023- The meeting of coordination between the ministries of Industry and Commerce, Public Works, Urban Rehabilitation and Development, Finance, Agriculture, Transport and Aviation, Communication and Information Technology, Public Health, Interior, Energy and Water, Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Electricity Company, Kabul Municipality, Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority, and other relevant institutions was held under the chairmanship of the Investment Facilitation Directorate at the compound of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs.

In this meeting, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid, director of Investment Facilitation of the General Directorate of Administrative Affairs, said that our objective is to end the gap between investors and the Emirate, and creation of coordination and relations between the involved institutions to facilitate the domestic and overseas investors.

Furthermore, at this meeting, Mir Ashraf, a representative of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce provided a presentation to the participants about the domestic and foreign countries' investment process, providing facilities for investors, investment opportunities, marketing, and solving investors' problems.

Meanwhile, the attendees of the meeting pledged to create investment opportunities for domestic and foreign investors, convey the message of Islamic Emirate to investors, and develop investment in Afghanistan to industrialize the country.

At the end of the meeting, Engineer Ahmad Zia Khalid mentioned the favorable environment prepared for investment and implementation of various development projects.
Additionally, he emphasized on continuation of further coordination meetings to create more facilities for domestic and overseas investors.

The meeting concluded with a prayer of goodwill.
