The General Directorate for Administrative Affairs of the President Office is an office similar to other directorates under the President’s Office. It organizes coordination among the President's Office and the Vice Presidents’ Offices, including the Office of the First Vice President. 

The Office of Administrative Affairs is involved in such cooperation for years in various aspects that have resulted in smooth and timely implementation of the affairs in the offices related to the Office of the President of Government Islamic Republic Afghanistan (GIRoA). 

The mutual cooperation among the Offices of the First and Second Vice Presidents of GIRoA and the Administrative Affairs have been extended into various aspects including administration, finance, and culture, social other aspects are continued in a mutual forbearance.

The Office of the Vice Presidents including the Office of First Vice President is dealing with the citizens and public issues brought forward to mentioned office, by reviewing and assessing them through its key specialized staff and technical advisors in light of the applicable laws of the country and incase if it needs further processing it is forwarded towards necessary actions to the Office of Administrative Affairs. Such issues and affairs are recorded and then submitted to the relevant government organization for necessary actions.

The Office of First Vice President of GIRoA has also 16 main responsibilities that have been instructed by the President of GIRoA according to the national constitution. 

Organizing and arranging committee meetings to which the Office of Administrative Affairs of the President Office is a member, to assess the role of the entities involved in the economic development and expediting government affairs is one of the important responsibilities of the Office of First Vice President. Accuracy and assessment of the mentioned affairs in the Office of First Vice President leads to facilitation of the country’s administration affairs.  

Constant and regular mutual cooperation among the Administrative Affairs General Directorate and Offices of Vice Presidents, including the Office of First Vice president is continuously held in all aspects. Both offices in cooperation and coordination take necessary actions as required and support each other. The General Directorate for Administrative Affairs of the Office of President provides and coordinate all administrative, finance and profession support to the Offices of Vice Presidents including the Office of First Vice President in an effective manner in order to avoid delays and limited actions in the affairs of the citizens and public by the government offices and Ministries and to respond in a timely manner, to ensure and raise good governance practices through the cooperation.
