Procurement Policy Directorate

Procurement Policy Directorate (PPD) is considered one of the directorates of National Procurement Authority that develops the policies, regulations and other standard documents of public procurement, and also effectively implements them with assistance of procurement agencies for the purpose of development of government procurement system and establishment of a proper, comprehensive and required system to support the economic system of the country and turn the procurement offices into professional agencies in the procurement.

For this reason the mission of this directorate is to plan and develop the procurement and economic policies, coordinate the procurement plans and improve the capacities of procurement units for the strategy and goals of National Procurement Authority.
