This Deputy General Directorate on Coordination of the Government’s Affairs functioning under Administrative Office of the President, generally aims to establish coordination among government agencies, to build active and effective work relations with governmental institutions and relevant international entities on those affairs related to the president’s office for bringing coordination among state institutions in legislation, legal and judicial areas, to build coordination among central and local offices, to solve administrative problems of defense and security sectors of the country, and to arrange the Cabinet’s meetings, systems to track the decisions and enactments of the Cabinet as well as an active system on organizing and coordinating official visits of government officials.
To carry out its respective affairs, Deputy General Directorate on Coordination of the Government’s Affairs leads the following directorates:
• Directorate of Coordination of the Cabinet’s Affairs;
• Directorate of Legal, Legislative and Judicial Affairs;
• Directorate of Defense and Security;
• Directorate of Coordination of Advisors and Commissions’ Affairs;
• And, Directorate of Coordination of International Relations and Local Governance.
DGDCGA’s vision is to bring further and better coordination of activities among state institutions in various sectors to improve procedures for collective decisions of the Cabinet, building effective inter-ministerial coordination for developing general policies, legislation and effective relations between central and local institutions in different areas of governance.
